Looking for a Software Developer to work with our Moodle development project.
Has to have experience working with Moodle, do not apply if you do not have this experience.
\nDuties- Advanced knowledge of the technical tools and platforms required to achieve the delivery of engaging and media-rich online learning content, and of trends in the use and effectiveness of educational technology and learning.
- Collaborate with faculty on the development of engaging learner-centered course materials for in-person, online, and hybrid courses.
- Manage multiple tasks/projects in a team-oriented environment
- Maintain working knowledge of current and emerging technologies
- Maintain working knowledge of trends and issues facing higher education and how instructional design can assist
- Assist faculty with periodic quality review of course materials
- Contribute to and support the creation of new digital learning assets, assignments, trainings, and instructional design materials.
- Develop Moodle based applications and plugins.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands on experience in Moodle Development is required.
- Minimum if 3 years of PHP experience is required.
- Demonstrated skills with version control.
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience contributing code to Moodle Core.
- Experience building and maintaining Moodle Plugins and Themes.
- Advanced skill with JavaScript.
- Advanced experience with the identification and use of open-source code, libraries, and communities.
- Experience writing and maintaining automated tests in a continuous integration pipeline.
