PM Hotel Group is Hiring an Assistant Housekeeping Manager | The River Inn | Modus by PM Hotel Group Near Washington, DC

We're looking for an innovative Assistant Housekeeping Manager who will lead the housekeeping department and elevate the room and colleague experience. The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for leading housekeeping standup meetings, assigning rooms, managing housekeeping boards, inspecting rooms, conducting inventory and invoicing. The annual compensation for this position is $50,000. This is a non-exempt position that reports to the Executive Housekeeper. All applicants must complete the 5-minute Predictive Index Behavioral assessment at the end of the application to be considered.

What You'll Do

* Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and BOH while providing exceptional levels of service.

* Conduct monthly inventory of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen as required.

* Interdepartmental communication with Front Office, F&B department, and Engineering to ensure a best-in-class guest experience.

* Ability to build a positive team culture by giving clear direction and expectations.

* Supervision of housekeeping team including mentoring, coaching, counseling and training under the guidance of leadership.

* Evaluate condition of furniture, fixtures, decor, etc. Make recommendations and take lead in the organization and coordination of Engineering and Housekeeping preventative maintenance programs and special projects.

* Ensure efficiency of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and policies.

* Drive positive and seamless employee relations with contract colleagues, ensuring proper training and culture integration.

* You'll internalize and demonstrate our cultural values on a daily basis, understanding that the team is looking to you to set the tone.

* You will balance accountability and delivering at a high level with empathy and support to create an engaged team.

* You will be active, on the floor, and hands on with your team.

* You will provide on the spot feedback.

* Have at least one year of hotel experience.

* Experience supervising a housekeeping team (preferred).
