Job Summary
We are seeking a strong, experienced and strategic Operations/Human Resources Manager to help manage the day-to-day operations of mental health clinic. Work closely with the CEO to ensure that the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively. This is a leadership role that requires strong supervisory and communication skills, a deep understanding of human resources principles, and the ability to drive organizational success through effective HR strategies.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversee the hiring and training of operations and administrative staff.
Organizes and oversees the work and schedules of operations and administrative staff and department managers
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Duties
Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company’s efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identifies opportunities for improvement.
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business procedures.
Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.
Ensures work environments are adequate and safe.
Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes, meets with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.
Improves consumer satisfaction through policy and procedural changes.
Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
Reviews work of billing staff to ensure accuracy, resolving inconsistencies as needed.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and objectives
Supervise and provide guidance to the HR team, including recruitment, training, and performance management
Assist with managing payroll
Review weekly denied insurance claims
Manage the insurance credentialing process for company and staff
Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and according to company policies, DBH and The Joint Commission standards
Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission standards
Perform other related duties as assigned
Experience & Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field required.
3- 5 years experience managing day to day operations and supervising staff
Strong knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and laws
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficient analytical, decision-making and strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategicall
Outstanding organizational skill and attention to detail
Superior managerial and diplomacy skills
Excel, Microsoft Word
