Actalent is Hiring a Project Architect Near Wheat Ridge, CO
Job Description
Actalent is seeking an experienced Architect with 5-10 years of commercial experience who is capable of managing a project from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be involved in a diverse range of tasks including coordinating with building departments, presenting to clients, producing comprehensive architectural drawings, developing designs and rendering, and creating detailed drawings. This role requires a strong background in structural steel/steel framing commercial projects. Experience with pre-engineered metal buildings is a plus. Proficiency in Revit is mandatory.

Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in architecture - should be licensed or on track to licensure.
- 5-10 years of experience in an architectural office, primarily should have been working on commercial/steel buildings
- Proficient in Revit - Lumion is a plus
- Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience detailing and working on a variety of building envelops
- Experience working on projects from beginning to end - need to have CA experience. Design/build experience is a plus
Work Environment
The company specializes in the design and construction of various aviation and commercial facilities nationwide. Located in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, the team consists of 6 architects and an in-house construction department, totaling about 18 employees. This position is critical as it is the only hire for the year, with the company planning to cap growth around approximately 20 employees. The role offers strong mentorship, a chance to engage in various roles within the office, and follows a typical Monday to Friday, 8-5 work schedule.
