Position Overview:

As a Dispatcher at Formica Plumbing & Sewer Co., you will play a crucial role in ensuring our service operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching service experts to various job sites, handling customer inquiries, and managing schedules. Your organizational skills and ability to multitask will ensure timely and effective service delivery to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispatch service experts to residential and commercial jobs based on priority and skill
• Monitor and manage service schedules to ensure timely and efficient operations
• Handle customer inquiries and provide accurate information regarding service calls
• Maintain detailed records of service calls, experts assignments, and customer interactions
• Communicate effectively with experts and customers to ensure clarity and satisfaction
• Utilize dispatch software and tools to optimize routes and schedules
• Assist in coordinating emergency and on-call services as needed
• Support administrative tasks related to dispatch operations

Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar role, preferably in the plumbing or service industry
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Proficiency in dispatch software and other relevant tools
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics or dispatch operations is a plus
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time
• Salary: Competitive, based on experience
