Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment and systems.
• Must have knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire alarm system/smoke detectors, carpentry and finish skills, and/or general building.
• Perform preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis such as all surface preparation, drywall, painting, and minor roof repairs to maintain the hotel and keep the product quality standard.
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows and counters. Paint and finish furniture and fixtures if needed.
• Conduct inspections to identify and resolve routine repairs in a timely manner. Perform repairs of all hotel equipment including small appliances, laundry equipment, HVAC, and general plumbing systems and fixtures such as pipelines, toilets, and sinks.
• Perform ground maintenance including general cleanup. landscaping, mowing, and trimming.
• Perform janitorial work-clean stairwells, public areas, parking lot, and maintenance area.
• Respond and attend to guest repair requests. Communicate with Hotel Front Desk/guests to resolve maintenance issues.
• Track work orders, document repairs, and maintain accurate records.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Skills:

• Strong technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Experience in fabricating or welding is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
