Responsibilities
- Prepare tax computations, workpapers, and tax entries
- Assist clients with bookkeeping and adjusting journal entries
- Prepare income tax returns (individual, partnership, multistate, corporate, and other)
- Assist with year-end planning and quarterly tax estimates
- Assist with initial preparation of client files
- Assist in proofing tax returns and other documents
- Assist with preparation of payroll and quarterly/year-end payroll tax returns
- Assist in researching technical issues
Qualifications and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with 150 credit hours
- 0-3 years of accounting experience
- Minimum 3.0 GPA and a solid track record of academic achievements
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Exemplary communication and organizational skills
- Strong desire to learn and develop professionally
- Motivated to serve clients
- Desire to be a team player
