GardaWorld Security is seeking highly qualified and professional Security Officers to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our high-end corporate office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for client personnel and visitors. Starting Compensation:

• $20.00 hr. Eligibility for company benefits

Available Shift(s)/Positions:
Multiple positions are available!

• Thursday - Sunday
• Days off- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

• Full Time- 32 hours a week

Responsibilities:

• 
  Access Control: Monitor and control access to the corporate office premises, ensuring that only authorized personnel and visitors enter the facility.

• Surveillance: Utilize CCTV systems and other security equipment to actively monitor the premises and identify any security threats or suspicious activities.

• Patrol: Conduct regular patrols of the corporate office to deter and detect security issues, ensuring all areas are secure.

• Emergency Response: Act swiftly and appropriately in emergency situations, following established procedures and protocols. This includes responding to alarms, disturbances, and medical emergencies.

• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to employees and visitors, assisting with inquiries and ensuring a positive and secure environment.

• Reporting: Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and any other necessary documentation. Report any security breaches or incidents to the appropriate authorities.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other security personnel and relevant departments to maintain a cohesive security strategy.

• Technology Utilization: Familiarity with security technologies such as access control systems, CCTV, and alarm systems.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional security-related certifications or training is a plus.
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process.
• Prior security or related experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to comply with company grooming and appearance policy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• Attention to detail and a high level of observance.
• Familiarity with security technology and equipment.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, sound decisions.
• Exceptional customer service skills/experience.
• Ability to work outside (weather permitting)
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Iowa-issued professional security license (GARDAWORLD will pay for and help to obtain if needed).
