Position Overview:
  • A skilled Helpdesk Technician specialized in facilitating the transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11 operating systems.
  • As a vital member of the IT support team, you will be responsible for imaging machines, deploying software, and ensuring a seamless migration process for our organization's 1000 PCs and 500 laptops, predominantly Dell machines with a mix of Lenovo/Surface laptops.
Responsibilities:
Operating System Migration: Lead the migration process from Windows 10 to Windows 11, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users and maintaining high levels of productivity.
  • Imaging and Deployments: Utilize imaging tools and deployment strategies to efficiently configure and distribute operating systems and software applications across all devices.
  • White Glove Experience: Provide exceptional customer service and support, delivering a white glove experience to end-users throughout the migration process.
  • Mobile Device Management: Experience with Airwatch is preferred for managing iPhones and Macs, ensuring their integration within our corporate environment and adherence to security protocols.
  • Printer Management: Oversee printer configurations, troubleshoot printing issues, and maintain optimal performance of printing devices across the organization.
  • Active Directory and Group Policy (Nice to Have): Familiarity with Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy Objects (GPOs) is advantageous for managing user accounts, permissions, and system configurations.
  • KACE Imaging / Ticket System: Proficiency in using KACE imaging and ticketing systems for efficient workflow management, tracking support requests, and documenting solutions.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Windows operating system migrations, preferably from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
  • Expertise in imaging machines, software deployments, and managing large-scale device deployments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a great personality, capable of providing outstanding customer service and support.
  • Familiarity with Airwatch or other mobile device management platforms for managing iPhones and Macs.
  • Knowledge of printer management techniques and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy (Nice to Have).
  • Proficiency in using KACE imaging and ticketing systems for workflow management and documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Pay Rate: $33.00 - $35.00/hr.
