Primary responsibilities for our Junior Recruiter role include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Participates in full life cycle recruiting activities with a sense of urgency and aggressiveness to achieve or exceed desired staffing levels on a regular basis
· Assists with employment advertising, applicant sourcing, and candidate screening
· Schedules interviews, greets visitors, administers applicable screening tests, receives applications, and participates in candidate selection
· Distributes recruiting materials and employment advertisements to positively promote the company and the benefits of joining our growing, award-winning team
· Maintains application supplies and new hire employment packages
· Identifies and attends recruiting events and customizes recruiting efforts accordingly to achieve desired staffing levels
· Develops and maintains relationships with business partners to facilitate additional candidate sourcing options
Minimum qualifications:
· 18 years old with a valid driver’s license
· 1 years of recruiting-related experience for all levels, exempt and non-exempt, and to include subcontract labor
· Knowledge of key human resources functions including recruiting, employment law/regulations (such as FLSA, FMLA, EEOC, and the like), personnel management, and employee development
· Possess a professional demeanor with appropriate presence and tact to suitably represent company in various environments
· Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills using the English language
· Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong proficiency using MS Office programs to include Excel, Word, and Outlook (prior CRM experience is a plus!)
Candidates with experience recruiting “blue collar” workers and/or CDL Drivers are HIGHLY PREFERRED!
