Job Description
Optimae Behavioral Health Services is hiring a part-time Medical Assistant for Southeast Iowa. The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting the telehealth prescribing team. They provide pleasant and professional office support to the public and other staff.

Duties:
- Answers and responds to phone calls.
- Greet customers as they enter the facility.
- Accepts responsibility in accordance with the role of Medical Assistant.
- Maintains privacy in all aspects of the job.
- updates and maintains digital client records.
- Record patient information such as vital signs, weight, changes in medical history, and PHQ9 and/or GAD7results prior to each appointment.
- Facilitate connection with prescriber via teleconferencing and support communication of needed information to and from the prescriber.
- Participates and communicates with other departments to assure that tasks are completed.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Associates degree in a medical field preferred.
- High school diploma required.
- High level of professionalism.
- Strong customer service.
- Computer competence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
