We are looking for an entry-level Billing Clerk. You will perform a wide variety of clerical, customer support, and administrative duties that are related to customer service; providing receptionist duties, customer service to the public and internal customers, and basic clerical accounting support, duties will also include all office janitorial duties
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES;
- Helps with accounts payable
- Helps with monthly billing
- Answers phones and responds to customer complaints and requests
- Posts and makes deposits of payments
- Helps with the preparation of monthly late notices
- Prepares month-end reports including water usage, revenue collected, number of connections, and deposits made
- Operates computer
- Maintains files
- Prepares various reports
- Maintains extensive public contact
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Experience level:
- 1 year
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
- Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
