Assistant Manager - Playground Abode

Join our team at Playground Abode as an Assistant Manager, where you'll oversee both retail and indoor playground operations. Collaborating closely and reporting to the Playground Manager, you'll ensure seamless daily operations, exceptional customer service, and a safe, engaging play environment for families.

Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

• Assist in the daily operations of the indoor playground and retail area, including opening/closing procedures, scheduling, and session transitions.
• Ensure seamless coordination between retail and playground operations for a cohesive customer experience.

Team Leadership:

• Motivate and manage a diverse team of playground attendants, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Cultivate a positive work environment that emphasizes teamwork and excellent customer service.

Customer Service:

• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service, promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism.

Safety and Facility Maintenance:

• Enforce strict safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all visitors.
• Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the facility, coordinating repairs and cleaning schedules.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor inventory levels for retail and play materials, ordering products as needed to sustain operations.

Event Planning and Coordination:

• Collaborate with clients to understand event requirements and plan unique and engaging parties and events.
• Coordinate all aspects of events, including scheduling, facility booking, equipment rentals, catering, decorations, and additional services.

Event Execution:

• Oversee setup and execution of events, addressing last-minute changes or issues promptly to ensure a seamless experience for guests.

Training and Compliance:

• Train new employees on company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role, preferably in entertainment, hospitality, or childcare
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused mindset
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to indoor playgrounds and childcare facilities
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed to support operational requirements
• Familiarity with play structures, children's entertainment, and customer service best practices

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
