Caldwell Care of Cascadia is currently hiring a talented and motivated Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA). We specialize in Behavioral Health, Memory Care, and Long-Term Care. We are seeking strong team players who are passionate about caring for our seniors!
Essential Functions
•Performs rehabilitation/restorative nursing interventions that assist or promote the resident's ability to attain his or her maximum functional potential, including:
o Range of motion (passive and active)
o Splint or brace assistance
o Training and skill practice in the following areas:
o Bed mobility
o Transfer
o Walking
o Dressing or grooming
o Eating or swallowing
o Amputation/prosthesis care
o Communication
o Continuous Passive Motion (CMP)
•Instructs the resident in the use of assistive devices for transferring, walking and mobility, dressing and grooming, eating and swallowing.
•Provides range of motion, proper turning and positioning in bed and chair.
•Assists residents with retraining in swallowing and self feeding techniques.
•Assists with application, removal, and cleaning of splints/devices.
Other duties as assigned
