Gyrodata is a sub business line of the Well Construction Division of SLB. The Company was founded in 1980to adapt advanced, aerospace guidance technology for applications in wellbore surveying for the oil and gas industry.

Our highly accurate, wellbore positioning and drilling guidance technology is used to assist the operator in better defining the trajectory of the wellbore and certain pieces of equipment in the well and to assist the driller in accurately drilling to a predetermined target. Today, Gyrodata is the leading supplier worldwide of precision wellbore survey services to the energy, mining, environmental and construction industries.

Job Function / Purpose

• Create electronic files and archives for Gyrodata, Inc.’s Accounting Department

Essential Duties

• Operate imaging tools to create of electronic files or archives for the Accounting Department

• Prepare and scan documents and images being converted to electronic format

• Check quality of scanned documents and images

• Ensure proper transfer and indexing of images

• Perform all imaging tasks assigned by Accounting Department

• Attend to administrative tasks as assigned

HSE Function

• Comply with applicable safety standards and maintain a safe working environment

QA Function

• Comply with applicable quality assurance standards

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Strong written and oral English communication skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some administrative or clerical experience
• Ability to use a computer for accessing and sending e-mail, opening and revising documents, accessing internet and web-based Gyrodata, Inc. systems, including SharePoint, Agresso and ability to use Microsoft Office, Including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docuware software

Working Conditions

• The job is performed in an office environment with minimal exposure to safety hazards. The job requires some physical exertion, including sitting, standing, occasional light lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling. The job requires operation of standard office equipment, including computers, telephones, copiers, etc. The job requires following written and oral instructions, attention to detail, ability to multitask, ability to work with others and ability to meet deadlines. The job requires following established policies and procedures, meeting quality and safety standards and regular attendance.
