In addition to our manufacturing and service locations throughout Europe, we recently built our North American headquarters in Salt Lake City. As Junior Commercial Project Manager, you will have proven experience and the ability to lead project teams of various sizes. If you are a Project Manager who wants to be part of a team that builds quality, state-of-the art passenger trains, this is the career for you.
Key Responsibilities
Support Senior Team in any critical phase of project ranging from
Critical customer interactions and events
to Contract Modifications and legal analytics
to procurement and supplier topics
to coordinate Engineering and Development challenges
to support any supply chain issues (domestic and international)
Efficiently analyzing project relevant data (commercial or legal) to establish and implement improvements for the program
Support taking meeting minutes and action items to ensure effective team coordination
Support in preparing project status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant information
Support in establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution
Support in facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget
Support in coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients
Support in identifying and developing new opportunities with customers
Support in managing customer satisfaction and acceptance within project deliverables and transition period
Support with customer communication in various forms and target audiences
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or master degree in a related field
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
1-3 years proven experience with a strong understanding of formal project management methodologies
Strong working knowledge and efficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability and experience to lead project teams of various sizes in matrix organization
International project experience a plus
Budget management experience or P&L responsibility preferable
Solid organization skills including attention to detail, multitasking, skills and excellent communication skills
Legal or Contract experience a plus
Background in mechanical or electrical disciplines a plus
