Pelican is looking for an outgoing, member service rock star to join the team at our ONeal Branch! This Full-Time Member Service Representative (MSR, for short) will be the face of Pelican and should exemplify the culture that has earned us the honor of being named one of the Best Places to Work in Baton Rouge for **seven** years in a row! A positive attitude and a heart for service are imperative for joining our team!

We rely on our MSRs to truly go above and beyond conventional member service and assist our members with their financial needs including, but not limited to, receiving all loan applications and processing independently through to closing, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of IRAs, and reviewing member accounts and/or consumer reports and utilizing that information to promote and cross-sell Pelicans products in a way that is beneficial to our members. Our ideal candidate has a positive, can-do attitude, is a self-starter and problem-solver with strong member service skills and has a background in financial institutions to include teller and/or lending functions. Additionally, the candidate should be comfortable in a sales environment and be able to meet monthly sales goals.

All candidates who wish to be considered must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience to include lending, teller, or call center with a financial institution. Computer skills and a strong background in sales is a must and all candidates must be eligible to be licensed to sell all necessary insurance products.
