Position Overview:
Verra Mobility is seeking a local QA Analyst candidate to contribute to the development and quality of our future and existing technology products. This position will participate in testing web-based applications along with Microservices and AI/ML while working with other testing team-members sharing knowledge and experience to help enhance QA competency. To be successful in this role, you must display robust interpersonal skills, have a high aptitude for technical learning. Be approachable and willing to engage quickly, multi-task efficiently, demonstrate discipline and initiative to consistently solve complex problems in a fluid, fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of composure, transparency, and professionalism during daily interaction with peers, customers, management, and external partners.
Essential Responsibilities:

• Requirement Analysis and designing detailed test cases and procedures from requirement specifications.
• Test new web applications and repeatable testing for existing products.
• Cope up with both manual and automation testing in the sprint for stories assigned.
• Work with offshore teams based on need basis.
• Ensure all product releases meet or exceed defined quality goals.
• Iterative Development and Release Management process experience in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Work with business analysts, development teams, and internal groups to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Attend design review and user meetings as required,
• Document test cases, test plans, test results and defects as needed.,
• Performs execution of test plan, continually analyzing test efforts for completeness
• Performs system integration, functional, volume, user interface and performance testing on modifications and enhancements before production releases through manual and automated techniques
• Create, maintain, and run automated test scripts
• Analyzes failure/success of automated scripts and makes modifications as required.
• Use Playwright with TypeScript and Cucumber from an implementation aspect or any equivalent automation framework.
• Experience gathering, using, and analyzing defect metrics data to present analysis findings to the appropriate levels of management verbally and through the preparation of periodic written reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years in quality assurance focused on web-based application testing writing test cases and test plans.
• Ability to work with global teams with different time zone.
• Experience using QA testing tools like ADO, Cucumber, CI/CD tools (Bamboo).
• Hands on experience in automation frameworks with language being JAVA/JAVASCRIPT/TYPESCRIPT.
• Experience with Iterative Development in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Experience of automation using the following Tech stack -JavaScript, AWS, Postgres DB, Azure DevOps, KAFKA, API GATEWAY LAMBDA, HASURA/GRAPHL QL.
• Ability to conduct functional testing, regression testing, system-level integration testing, end-to-end testing, and acceptance testing.
• In-depth understanding of software development processes and methodologies including their documentation and creation.
• Knowledge and experience with version control and defect tracking systems.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and task responsibilities simultaneously and switch among them quickly to meet prioritized business needs.
• Gather, use and analyze defect metrics data to present analysis findings to the appropriate levels of management verbally and through the preparation of periodic written reports.

• Must be located in Phoenix Arizona and willing to commute into office at least 2 days a week.
