Alabama State University, Biomedical Engineering Department, invites applications for the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate. The successful candidate will fabricate tissue scaffolds and study the interaction of cells with the scaffolds including cell viability growth and differentiation, be responsible for designing and implementation of experiments, data analysis, training undergraduate students and assisting in writing manuscripts. In addition, the Research Associate will be involved in developing collaborations across the university and outside the university, and performing other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
PhD in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Technology, or a closely related science or engineering field, experience with techniques including live-cell imaging, fluorescence microscopy, qPCR, western blot and ELISA and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are required.
