**Description**

**This position will be employed through Headway consulting firm working on-site at Macmillan Learning in Plymouth, MI.**

Macmillan Learning is seeking a Warehouse Associate to contract with us for 6 months.

This Warehouse Associate will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

**Qualifications:**

* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

* Some forklift/lift truck experience or willingness to learn with provided training

* Familiarity with Microsoft office (Word and Excel)

* Logistic and inventory management software is a plus

* Able to work independently and safely and follow directions

* Must observer all current company safety protocols

* Mask must be properly worn at all times while not at cubicle desk

**The warehouse associate will be responsible for, but not limited to:**

* Assist shipping and receiving by loading & unloading trucks and checking in product in a timely and efficient manner

* Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area

* Maintains inventory control by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer, also assist in counting of physical inventory within the same day

* Perform weekly inventory and end-of-season inventory on warehouse

* Disposing of obsolete product from skids and racks

* Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; Sweep, dust and mop.

* Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times

* Computer/scale/Hi-Lo must be sanitized after use, and before starting another task
