Job Description:
The purpose of the Intermediate Clerk depends on the departmental requirements listed under the essential job functions.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Identify and clear Lockbox exception payment on a daily basis.
Verify and clear Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) Lockbox suspense accounts on a daily basis.
Research and resolve rejected items from Lockbox on a daily basis.
Run Lockbox daily transaction report on a daily basis.
Handle Lockbox hard return package.
Responsible for Automatic Payment Service new requests and updates.
Maintain Automatic Process Service enrollment request worksheet.
Solve and follow up Automatic Payment Service issues.
Notify Customer Service Representatives with customers' updates.
Forward customer payments to Lockbox.
Response Automatic Payment Service & Lockbox related emails in Cash Remittance email box.
Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and internal control procedures and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.
Validate and research returned customer refund checks.
Assist with month-end accounts receivable close process.
Document and keep updated procedures.
Preaudit employee expense reports.
Act as back-up for pay cycles and ghost card process.
Act as back-up for switch board.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ensure any inbound back-feed/validation corrections are actioned within required timelines.
2-4 years' experience of cash application.
Familiarity with AR systems.
Excellent detail orientation and Strong problem-solving skills.
Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office application, especially Excel and Word and Outlook.
Salary Range: $32.60 - $43.80
