JOB DESCRIPTION

TITLE: Valet FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt

REPORTS TO: Director of Services DEPARTMENT: Clubhouse

JOB SUMMARY: As a Country Club of Mobile Team Member, you must be friendly, outgoing and possess good communication skills. Our members and guests expect the best. As a CCM Team Member you play a major role in providing the best quality service possible. “Service with a Smile” is a key element in providing a positive experience. Your individual personality and smile should shine through; you should make every effort to use it to your advantage. You should be organized, able to think and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure. All CCM Team Members must at all times, be guest-sensitive and possess a sense of urgency in your timing. Successful CCM Team Members take pride in personal appearances, show dedication, display integrity and honesty in all areas of service. 

Parking automobiles and carrying packages out for members and guests.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Smiles, assists members and guests in and out of cars, opens the front door and welcomes members and their guests to The Country Club of Mobile.

2. Assists members and guests with wine, boxes or to go food to their car. When there is ‘To-go food’ left at the front door for a member to pick up, identify the member and take it out to the car when possible without the member having to get out of their car. Takes a clip board and a pen for them to sign the ticket.

3. Parks automobiles for members and guests.

4. May summon and dispatch taxis, Uber or Lyft.

5. Keeps a watchful eye for unauthorized people around the Club and notifies a manager when observing anyone or any vehicles that look suspicious or out of place in the parking lots or on Club property.

6. Maintains clean and safe entrance.

7. Directs members and guests to desired room.

8. Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by Manager on Duty. 

9. Must be punctual and work the set schedule.

10. Must always be in clean, neat uniform and wearing a name tag.

11. In periods of wet weather takes towels to wipe off the seat before the member and their guests get into the car.
