RUTLAND PUBLIC SCHOOLS Physical/Health Education Teacher Rutland City Public Schools seeks an energetic and professional individual to fill an anticipated Physical and Health Education position at Rutland High School, Northeast and Northwest Primary Schools. Applicants must have a working knowledge of the Vermont Standards and Proficiency Based Grading for Physical and Health Education and the ability to teach a diverse and engaged student body. A background in standards based assessment and reporting is desired. A teaching philosophy with a focus on wellness and developing students who strive to be healthy and active members of the community is a must. The ability to work collaboratively with our team of Physical and Health Educators in a mode of continuous improvement is essential. The successful candidates will possess licenses in Physical Education and Health or the ability to achieve licensure.
