Seeking a Financial Operations Services Manager
Plummer Associates Inc. is seeking an experienced Financial Operations Services Manager to oversee our shared services team based in Ft. Worth, Texas. This role is critical in managing and optimizing our financial operations across Accounts Payable, Expenses, Timesheet, Payroll Administration, Billing, and Project Accounting
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Manage Shared Services: Oversee the daily operations of the shared services center which includes accounts payable, expenses, timesheet submissions, and payroll administration.
Billing and Revenue Management: Supervise the billing team, ensuring accurate and timely client billing, invoice reconciliations, and revenue recognition.
Project Accounting: Direct project accounting functions, ensuring accurate project setup, ongoing monitoring, and financial reporting.
Process Improvement: Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy across financial operations. Work closely with the CFO to align financial processes with corporate goals.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team, including direct oversight of key team members AP, Exp, TS, Payroll Owner and Billing Team Supervisor, and collaborate in hiring and training new team members.
Compliance and Controls: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies, maintaining rigorous financial controls and documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial operations or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong understanding of financial processes including accounts payable, billing, payroll, and project accounting.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff.
Proficiency in financial software and systems, with a preference for candidates with experience in industry-standard ERP systems.
