JOB SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform pre-painting job walk with lead painter or superintendent.
• Perform prepping and painting techniques in an accurate, neat, and efficient manner while maintaining cleanliness and safety.
• Establish and maintain a good working relationship with team members, vendors, general contractors, etc.
• Follow the best method to complete the job based on customer requirements and lead painter’s instructions.
• Conduct equipment check and ensure equipment is functioning.
• Verify materials and equipment and locations of paint colors.
• Follow and ensure compliance of all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Participates with team to maintain and enforce job site safety; understands site safety and fall protection plans (where appropriate).
• Accurately report all work time and work functions to lead painter or supervisor.
• Participate in ongoing on the job training with the lead painter or painter II and contributes to the training of apprentice painters.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of this job.

• Must have equipment certification for boom truck, scissor lift, etc. and/or completion within 90 days.
• Must possess valid Washington driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Pass criminal background check (when required).
• Relevant work experience in construction industry preferably in commercial painting.
• Must have mobile device to connect to UKG, Workglue, Site Docs, Outlook, Teams and Jot-forms.
• Thrive in a team-based environment
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with the team and supervisor verbally and in writing
• Read and process written information with a high degree of accuracy
• Work effectively in a construction site environment, with a focus on high levels of quality and customer service
• Ability to travel via automobile
• Transport personal tools and required equipment to jobsite

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift and carry 30-50 lbs. frequently
• Ability to carry 2 five-gallon buckets of paint occasionally and tools frequently
• Ability to walk, bend and stretch frequently
• Ability to set up and climb ladders and scaffolding
• Must be able to work in extreme weather and temperatures

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
