R.H. Sheppard in Hanover, PA is hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift Inspector openings depending on the shift (includes shift differential); Direct hire, full-benefits on your first day plus performance bonus eligibility!
- Perform inspections on products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Use various measuring tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to perform accurate measurements
- Analyze inspection data and make decisions on product acceptance or rejection
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Follow FDA regulations and company quality control procedures
- Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects or abnormalities in products
- Fabricate inspection fixtures or jigs as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in quality assurance/quality control or a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with quality management systems and processes
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and industry standards for quality control
- Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM
- Strong analytical skills to interpret inspection data and make informed decisions
- Attention to detail and ability to identify defects or abnormalities in products
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with production teams and report inspection findings accurately
