Billing Coordinator

This position would be for Head Biller for a MH and addiction recovery Billing.

General Description

The Billing Coordinator manages all billing, charges, and payment for clients. In addition, this position is primarily responsible for billing, posting, and reconciling and analyzing accounts receivable for all state contract billing. The position will also provide general support to the administration and finance divisions.

Duties:

Medical Billing

Makes sure medical codes are accurate for visit seen

Accurate to national standards

Timely billing

Fixes returned bills

Analyzes helps with new billing software

Accurately bills per each client visit

Helps train new billing employees

Attendance Requirements:

This job will be expected to have flexible hours that meet consumer scheduling needs. The scheduling of staff meetings and training meetings may necessitate variations in schedules. Permanent changes in an employee’s work schedule will be provided to the employee in writing with an explanation why the change was made. Scheduling is the responsibility of the employer and will be based on the needs of the people served by the agency

Qualifications

• Associates degree or relevant accounting training required
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years accounting, data entry and office experience strongly preferred
• Experience in banking or with representative payees, strongly preferred
• Knowledge of accounting principals
• Knowledge of contract billing, preferred
• Must pass a Criminal and CPS background check

Salary: DOE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
