Insight Lighting, in Rio Rancho has an opening in our Fabrication department for a full time general laborer. This is an hourly position to work Monday thru Thursday from 6 am to 4:30 pm and overtime on Fridays if needed. This position comes with a full benefit package.

The general laborer will be required to perform metal fabrication such as sanding, deburring, drilling, tapping and modifying materials.

Performs fabrication functions, using sanding equipment to deburr material in conformance with specifications.

Assist in other manufacturing areas when/if not needed in Fab

Education /Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required. One year related fabrication of material or manufacturing experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, basic shop safety practices, and techniques in sanding or deburring fabricated parts.
• Mathematics—Basic math skills required.
• Lifting – Minimum lifting 25 lbs. To maximum 50 lbs. required.
• Oral/Written Comprehension- Must be able to read and apply oral, or written instructions on machine operations and safety.
• Time Management - Managing one's own time with some supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
