Pinnacle Construction is Hiring a Construction Project Manager Near Charlottesville, VA

Job Summary
Pinnacle Construction and Development Corp is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in our Charlottesville office. The Project Manager plans, coordinates, implements, and maintains company project management, estimating and scheduling software while providing technical and administrative direction to ensure corporate objectives are met. Manages and updates project databases.
Plans, organizes and controls all resources (people and materials) for the successful execution of a project. Leads project teams in the construction of projects ensuring project quality, schedule, cost control, safety and customer satisfaction objectives are met. Primary point of contact for Owners.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Prepares and updates all assigned project schedules, including subcontractors and material deliveries.
  • Manages pre-construction activities including take-offs, bid solicitation, bid review, subcontractor negotiations and assembly of the final project budget.
  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
  • Prioritizes tasks to provide a smooth flow of progress throughout the project; overseeing the tasks and responsibilities assigned to employees and subcontractors.
  • Monitors and ensures quality control
  • Manages the scope of work and has mastery of the contract documents
  • Coordinates project activities complying with government regulatory or other governmental agencies.
  • Directs and ensures timely completion of project close-out activities
Working conditions: includes on-site construction office
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction science, construction management, engineering, architecture or other construction-related field.
  • Three years' experience in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
  • Position requires exceptional communication, computer, and organizational skills.
