STG, Inc. is Hiring a Show Supervisor - Part time Near Seattle, WA

The Show Supervisor oversees STG’s live show box office operations and customer service. This includes supervising box office window staff, resolving patrons’ ticket problems, monitoring holds, guest lists and providing reports for show settlement. This position also requires back-office ticket fulfillment, advance reporting and pre-settlement. Additionally, this position is cross-trained in our daytime operations customer service duties such as replying to patron emails, answering phones and assisting at our walk-up window for in-person sales. Schedules are done one calendar month at a time and the number of hours per week can vary based on show volume. The majority of shifts will occur on weekends. This position earns $23.22 – $32.51/hour and paid sick leave.

Must be available to work at our three city venues as well as our outdoor concert venue, Remlinger Farms in Carnation, WA. This position will also be working our THING festival at Remlinger Farms August 9th-11th, 2024.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Supervise and assist staff on live shows, both matinee and evening performances
  2. Work with Front of House staff resolving seating issues
  3. Resolve patrons’ customer service issues
  4. Facilitate guest lists and other artist needs
  5. Fulfill client ticket orders as well as internal orders from other STG departments
  6. Respond in a timely manner to email requests both day of show and in advance of show
  7. Prepare box office statement and settlement reports
  8. Monitor ticket holds prior to the event
  9. Assist day staff with ticket fulfillment
  10. Print Will Call and organize additional materials such as venue access passes
  11. Troubleshooting technology issues such as issues with ticketing software, scanners and printers
  12. Provide assistance when needed with box office and subscriptions customer service such as engaging with patrons through email, phones and at walk up window.
  13. Coordinate staffing with Audience Services Managers
  14. This position requires work to be done in person and on site. Schedule requires multiple days in-person for shifts at our administrative office and venues.
  15. Other duties may be assigned as needed with the flexibility to take on new roles or responsibilities as the company evolves.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Prior box office experience or live venue event supervisory experience
  2. Proficiency in Ticketmaster HOST/Archtics ticketing applications preferred
  3. Must be available days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  4. Strong customer service background
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adjusting to a variety of events and audience types (Broadway, concerts, fine arts, etc.)
  6. MS Office: Word & Excel
  7. Touch type and ten key proficiencies
  8. Basic math and accounting proficiency

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Vision – corrected vision close to 20/20 is necessary to effectively use the computer screen.
  2. Sitting/Standing/Walking – about 50% of the time is spent seated at a desk.
