Threefoot Hotel is Hiring a Valet-At Your Service Agent Near Meridian, MS

POSITION PURPOSE: The Valet Parking Attendant will be responsible for observing parking lots for persons parked; monitoring garage for improper or illegally parked cars, monitoring entry and exit of people and cars in garage; reporting any issue of concern to management. Maintaining cleanliness of garage, the hotel entrances and public areas of the hotel. Baggage service may also be required as requested by hotel guests. 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  Greet Guests/Customers entering and exiting the building.  Assist in the daily maintenance and cleanliness of parking deck/ garage, building and property using appropriate tools needed for the job, i.e. (broom and dust pan, running a backpack blower and operating motorized sweeper) and assist with other projects as directed.  Notify Supervisor or Parking Deck Manager of any concerns or foreseeable problems with the deck or with parked cars or customers.  Assist customers with any questions or concerns.  Assist with minor parking deck maintenance and repairs as needed.  Maintain a professional, cheerful, and courteous disposition at all times while interacting with customers.  Main composure in stressful situations that may arise with guests/customers in garage.  Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  Must have a valid driver’s license  Must have a clean driving record  Must be at least 19 years of age  Must have the ability to understand, read, write and speak English and communicate with guests and Team Members of other departments.  Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions given.  Ability to comply in standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.  Ability to work flexible shifts  Must have excellent customer service skills.  Must be able to work without constant supervision.
