The Courtyard Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is Hiring an Assistant Business Office Manager LONGTERM OR OFFICE HEALTHCARE REQUIRED Near Victoria, TX

Job Summary: Part time position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Business Manager to join our team. The Assistant Business Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our business. This position requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a system of financial recordkeeping to include ledgers, posting cash journals
  • Establish and maintain a system of accounts receivable, check register, ledgers, etc., as necessary.
  • Assist with Medicare, Medicaide, & Managed Care Billing
  • Maintain the general ledger to include the preparation of journal entries, accounts analysis and reconciliation, closing books, setting up new accounts, etc., as necessary or instructed.
  • Monitor and collect accounts receivables. Report delinquent accounts to the Administrator.
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements to include preparing monthly balance sheet, income and expense reports, etc., as required.
  • Assist with Medicaide application renewals with families/resident
  • Review and interpret monthly financial statements and provide such information to the Administrator and/or the Director of Finance.
  • Review entries to the general and statistical ledgers, to assure accuracy and compliance with established accounting procedures.
  • Prepare financial and statistical reports as required.
  • Perform functions of computer/data processor as necessary.
  • Develop and utilize computer reports and output as required.
  • Ensure that resident admission contracts are signed and appropriately filed.
  • Perform general clerical duties, such as data entry, filing, and record keeping
  • Insurance verfication & authorizations

Experience:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Proficient in using various software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite

- Familiarity with phone systems and other office equipment

- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and experience in Point Click Care

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
