Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is a 513 bed skilled Nursing facility atop Onondaga Hill in Syracuse, NY. Van Duyn Center is committed to providing specialized care to our patients and residents by offering respiratory care services, which includes a respiratory wellness program. The Certified Respiratory Therapist will work with the Nursing and Medical team to provide hands on care for trachs, suctioning needs, treatments, and education. Respiratory Therapy is an important supportive role for the patient/resident and provides education and ongoing supportive serices to reduce exacerbation of conditions and reduces ED utilization and hospital admissions. Certified Respiratory Therapist enhance the quality of life for patients and residents.
