Salary: $70,000 - $100,000

Reports to:  Director of Business Development

Summary of Position: The Proposal Coordinator position is critical and integral to Blach Construction’s Business Development efforts. It requires high levels of creativity, collaboration, attention to detail and excellent writing skills, as your primary responsibility is producing materials that support – and ultimately win – new business pursuits/projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and produce compelling collateral, in both print and digital formats, to secure new projects
  • Create qualifications packages, new business proposals, presentations and other marketing materials to promote the Blach brand, firm services/capabilities and projects
  • Create compelling graphics and infographics
  • Collaborate with BDM team and other departments to create and write technical and proposal content tailored to client requirements
  • Assist in the development and implementation of proposal capture strategies
  • Support with CRM administration including data entry, reporting and knowledge management
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with all members of the BDM team, the company and outside business partners
  • General support for BDM team particularly related to business development efforts (which may include research, planning and implementing events, seasonal gift efforts and more)

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage a diverse workload in a fun, but deadline-driven and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written, interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
  • Flexible, detail-oriented, self-starter/team player committed to quality
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Unanet (Cosential) CRM, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Relevant experience in the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction fields preferred

Position Status:  Full-time, regular business hours, non-exempt
