Description
The Site Manager oversees and supervises the work of janitorial, custodial and floor technician staff at a commercial facility. They plan staff’s schedules, document disciplinary actions, conduct training and keep track of staff attendance. Coordinate all staff activities, train newly hired supervisory staff on their duties, responsibilities, and how to use the equipment or machines designed for cleaning and sanitation. They are also responsible for reporting broken equipment, buying cleaning tools, ordering and keeping supplies in stock. Interact with site clients, resolve problems and complaints or escalate to corporate personnel. Create and produce reports related to contract requirements, payroll, attendance, quality improvement and demographic staffing data. Report, resolve and manage safety incidents. Site Managers maintain continuity books for all duties to ensure the smooth operation of their site.

Minimum Qualifications (Education/Experience):
Required – Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience
Required – 5-10 years general supervisory experience
Preferred – Experience supervising staff who operate motorized floor care equipment and perform janitorial duties in a large commercial environment.
Computer Skills – Ability to use Office 365 (Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Outlook); ability to use other relevant project related software to apprise Regency management of personnel, client and site issues.
Listening skills – strong active listening skills help site managers manage a fluid workforce on multiple shifts and manage client activity.
Attention to detail – site managers ensure that requirements per the site scope of work are managed daily as well as staffing, supplies and equipment. Attention to detail, good communication, timeliness and accuracy is a key aspect of the role.
Time management – this job requires the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner (manually and electronically) and to set, adhere and manage subordinate schedules
Physical stamina – site managers are expected to physically walk the assigned site on a routine basis and spend most of their workday on their feet; good physical strength and stamina is a must
Mechanical skills – this job involves using, driving and charging floor cleaning equipment and tools, so applicants must be familiar with mechanical equipment.
