Corporate Counsel - Employment Law

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active membership in the bar of at least one U.S. state.
• Up to 3 years of experience as a practicing attorney, preferably within a law firm, with a focus on employment law.

Job Summary:

As a Junior Attorney specializing in Employment Law, you will represent our organization in legal claims, lawsuits, and litigation. You'll provide guidance to managers and departments on legal matters, offering proactive measures to mitigate potential legal risks.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities:

• Receive and review company legal disputes, including employment-related litigation, and develop litigation strategies.
• Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations, collaborating with external counsel to address state and federal complaints.
• Conduct internal investigations and address formal administrative complaints, charges, and attorney demand letters.
• Respond to third-party requests, prepare necessary productions, and review outside counsel invoices to ensure compliance with deadlines.
• Provide comprehensive legal advice and strategic support on employment law matters to internal clients.
• Draft and review employment documents, such as contracts, policies, procedures, and non-solicitation letters.
• Develop litigation tools, oversee matter management systems, and report activity to senior management.
• Identify employment-related legal matters with significant implications for the company and report promptly to the Senior Corporate Counsel.
