Coleman Litigation is Hiring a Remote Litigation Attorney

Coleman Litigation is a fast-paced, fast-moving, high energy, fully virtual law firm servicing clients throughout Florida. We represent homeowners, contractors, consumers, and small businesses in business disputes, including but not limited to, contract cases and other business torts, real estate litigation matters, construction issues, and copyright and trademark disputes. We are looking for a new associate to join our growing law firm!

Qualifications:

  • Must be proactive, highly detailed oriented, highly organized and motivated, and be able to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced working environment.
  • 3-7 years of associate experience
  • 155 LSAT score
  • Must have gotten an "A" or top marks in legal research and writing
  • Clio experience a plus but not required
  • Must have experience using Outlook, Adobe, and Microsoft Office
  • Must have graduated at least cum laude from law school
  • Must have graduated in the top 25% of the law school class

Responsibilities:

  • Draft letters, memos, motions, draft orders, pleadings, etc.
  • Prepare the lead attorney for upcoming hearings
  • Stay on top of case management and case management deadlines
  • Coordinate discovery and discovery efforts with paralegal and other legal support staff
  • Conduct legal research on a wide variety of topics
