About the Role

We are seeking an analytical, curious, and proactive person who is committed to increasing customer engagement and ultimately conversion. This is an exciting opportunity to drive our site’s content and product strategy, in collaboration with cross-functional teams. In this role, you will be the subject matter expert of our funnel metrics and how to improve them continually. Leveraging Google Analytics, Looker, Full Story, and other data sources, you will generate and act on insights to drive engagement. This role is responsible for site content – is it the right content in the right places? If not, how should it change? How do we increase SEO? You will be fluent in analytics, but also particularly strong at communicating your ideas simply to a range of cross-functional partners and audiences.

This is fast paced, hands on, and high impact. This is a great opportunity for an e-commerce enthusiast who is looking to get closer to product management. Reports to the Executive Director of NA Ecommerce.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute brand.com’s content calendar based on strategic merchandising, key events, and engagement data. Ensure site content and features are aligned with key focuses and business goals.
  • Manage and execute site deliverables, including new “single product pages,” with an eye towards optimization. Make sure the site is error-free and we launch content on time.
  • Collaborate with NA Ecommerce team and Global Ecommerce team on development of new site features, enhancements, and functionality to business needs; continually increase engagement with key features, including on-site chat and virtual try-on.
  • Manage site project deliverables and timelines both internally and externally to ensure execution matches vision and expectations.
  • Monitor project statuses internal and external teams, troubleshoot obstacles/site issues, and provide outstanding communication to all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with NA and Global cross functional teams, Creative, digital production team, and QA team to develop, launch, and maintain brand content and functionality for the website.
  • Responsible for all site analytics & communicates results with team & senior management.

Site Maintenance & Development:

  • Manages site maintenance team works with production, engineers, and peers on refreshes, including extensive QA for all North America online businesses. Identifies and supports enhancements for special cases/scenarios.
  • Liaison with the Global Ecom team on new site features and enhancements on the roadmap to ensure alignment on timing and NA business needs.
  • Leads site enhancements specific to the NA region and business goals; helps provide business requirements; leads implementation; identifies and resolves ongoing bugs.
  • Partner with Customer Service to ensure ongoing communication of site elements, functionality, and content. Address issues as they arise.
  • Responsible for closely monitoring site performance daily – i.e. site speed, bugs and fixed, consumer feedback, etc.
  • Leads all QA with the support of site updates & unique promotions.
  • Analyze behavior and performance of site features and functionality and incorporate findings into optimizations.
  • Monitor product merchandising and on-site search to optimize consumer trend and experience.
  • Lead on SEO strategy and maintain ongoing optimizations on the site.

Analytics / Reporting

  • Deliver weekly and monthly KPI and state of the business report.
  • Offer and act on proactive, data-based observations about customer engagement: which page has the highest conversion rate – how should we drive more traffic there and adapt learnings to other pages? What is our customer responding well to; how could/should we pivot?
  • Provides thoughtful site analysis through postmortems of campaign and site development initiatives, as well as key promo events.
  • Ensure that all tagging requirements for site development and marketing projects are in line with business goals and KPI’s.

Project Management:

  • Work with stakeholders to understand functional, technical, creative, and content requirements of projects.
  • Act as end-to-end owner for content and feature updates; oversee the timely delivery of creative assets and briefing to developer for build, QA and go live scheduling, such as delivering creative assets/copy to the project owner or assigning “bugs” to the engineers when they need to implement a project. Identifying key milestones, dependencies, and resources, when necessary, with the support of Global Site Experience Manager.

Qualifications


REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4 years in ecommerce / ecommerce/digital preferred but not required. Most importantly, we are looking for a curious individual who can blend common sense observations with data-driven analysis to drive engagement through content and on-site features.
  • Understanding ecommerce principals & platforms from both a functional and design perspective preferred (development skills not required).
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive problem solving, ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across teams.
  • Strong organizational & multi-tasking skills. Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics or other site analytics tools a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • College degree required. BA/BS in marketing, computer science or a related discipline preferred.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $71,000 to $106,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
