Dynata develops innovative online market research and advertising technologies that deliver instant audience access to market researchers and advertisers. We're looking for someone who is passionate about solving complex problems on a daily basis and is inspired to work alongside designers to see their solutions come to life. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with independent self-direction, strong technical know-how coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication.

By developing new and innovative products, you'll help Dynata advance its technological strengths while challenging the industry to see opportunities it hadn't yet noticed. It will demand good data analytics skills, excellent ability to understand technical systems, creative problem-solving skills, as well as a proven good taste in design. You will be outlining features that will lead our products into the future, and working closely with stakeholders and developers to see your proposed solutions and designs through development. Success in this role will greatly depend on good communication skills and keen curiosity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand all aspects of the growingDynata demand platform and the fit for purpose UIs in today's reality and the future state plan

• Specific focus on key specialty product support, including our growing media work

• Assist in the development of the strategic vision for your product, delivering an engaging customer experience with a feature set that enables the vision

• Manage the product roadmap and key performance metrics for your product

• Manage and track release lists and the timing and calendarization for product releases

• Hold regular stakeholder meetings to update for feature releases, align on priority roadmap, and establish feedback loop

• Be an evangelist for stakeholders' needs

• Document functionality needs for tech use in the form of user stories that describe what the product feature needs to do, why (revenue impact/cost savings), what the acceptance criteria is, what the OKRs are, the KPIs, and any reporting needs

• Design smart and highly optimized solutions to system problems that take into consideration both, the technical feasibility and general usability; continuously striving to simplify product design

• Actively monitor core metrics to proactively identify issues and ensure that products are working correctly

• Analyze user behavior to identify trends; translating those trends to proposed product features

• Develop and maintain documentation of product functionality and build training materials for Dynata's internal, and in collaboration with others, external customers

• Collaborate with technology and other teams for UA testing, pilot testing and full feature roll outs

• Assist in defining and developing strategies and tactics to support product adoption

• Work alongside UX Designers to produce world class and optimal performance mockups

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

• Strong data analytic skills.

• Understanding of media research- ad measurement work is preferred

• A background in data driven decision making and working with data to solve problems

• A clear understanding of user centered design

• Ability to perform qualitative research with users and other stakeholders

• Be able to reach out to anyone inside or outside the company in pursuit of answers to questions

• Great curiosity and an exciting drive to satisfy that curiosity

• Experience managing feature roll outs with technology teams

• Excellent communication skills. A great ability to articulate complex ideas and to translate technical documentation/language for business professional colleagues and customers

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• At least 2 years' experience working in the full capacity as a product manager or product owner while working with tools such as specification documents, wireframes, user stories, personas OR at least 2 years' experience working in Dynata's project management organization obtaining SME level with sample production, and the desire to take this knowledge to drive change and innovation for the platform

• Product management or product owner experience for SaaS products. Enterprise solutions strongly preferred

The base salary range for this position in is $70K-$80K/yr bonus; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A discretionary incentive program may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits, dependent on full-time employment status.
