Digital Marketing Manager

Vetcor is comprised of 800 veterinary hospitals with an in-house marketing team that serves each location with marketing campaigns and programs. We are looking for a remote Digital Marketing Manager based in the great Dallas metro area.. This is a key role on the hospital marketing team for developing, implementing, and managing the online marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth for our practices. This role requires a combination of creative, analytical, and leadership skills.

This role is primarily responsible for managing our veterinary hospital websites and paid digital media efforts. The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing online marketing efforts to achieve the company's marketing objectives with a focus on customer service, strong digital knowledge, and project management skills. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining hospital websites on a CMS platform, including initial and ongoing SEO optimizations. This role will also manage Paid Digital Media campaigns while analyzing data to make informed decisions and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

The Digital Marketing Manager also aids in managing and executing additional projects, including help desk tickets, maintaining an overall healthy digital presence, and other initiatives supporting digital marketing. This role reports to the Director of Hospital Marketing and has 1 part-time direct report that is solely focused on websites.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Digital Strategy Development : Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with overall business goals.
  • Campaign Management : Plan, create, and manage digital marketing campaigns across various channels such as social media, search engines, and content marketing. Manage the relationship with the Paid Ad agency to drive campaign testing, optimizations, and report on ROI to senior leadership. Manage call tracking setup and reporting.
  • Website Management : Optimize website content for search engines (SEO) to improve organic and paid search rankings for all locations. Oversee build-out and launch of new websites, including SEO optimizations. Serve as a subject matter expert on the CMS platform that hosts our websites, managing global updates and individual updates. Partner with our developer on additional enhancements and workflows, reporting and action plans to improve website health.
  • Web Analytics : Analyze website traffic and user behavior using tools like Google Analytics to identify opportunities for improvement. GA4 knowledge is preferred.
  • Analytics and Reporting : Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data analytics tools to assess the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts. Provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Competitor Analysis : Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to adjust online strategies accordingly.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) : Continuously optimize the website and landing pages to improve conversion rates and user experience.
  • Provide exemplary customer support.
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related studies preferred
  • Proven experience (typically 5 years) in digital marketing, with a track record of successful campaigns and team management.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Console, Google Analytics, and other analytics tools.
  • Strong working knowledge on SEO/SEM management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing trends and best practices.

The Digital Marketing Manager is a hybrid role with most work taking place remotely and limited, but routine, in office requirements for meeting and team collaboration. This role is ideally based in Dallas, however we are happy to consider candidates from the greater Austin or the Boston metro areas.
