Program Overview
The Mternship program is a 10 week full-time summer internship program designed to provide students a hands-on experience to prepare for careers in advertising and marketing, design firms, brands or other companies in the communications field. Mterns will have the opportunity to work on significant educational projects that can include, but are not limited to, the concept and creation of package designs, digital campaigns, brochures, print ads, TV commercials, websites, experiential design and any other medium used to market a product, service or brand. The goal is for students to leave with projects for their portfolio and/or an understanding of how a creative agency works.
INTERNSHIP JOB DESCRIPTION
Intern will assist creating secure, robust, flexible and highly available systems and technologies that delight on any device from any location to empower and support the creative heartbeat of McKinney. In short, utilize technology to delight clients, allow us to run more efficiently, and create magical experiences.
First tier client support for all desktop hardware, business software issues, and agency meetings
First tier support for all Agency meetings including audio, video, and presentation
Intern will work as part of a tight-knit team in a satellite office, working with the most creative minds with a technical focus.
Assist with software updates
Research and recommend new technologies to add to the agency technology offering
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
Must be graduating between December 2024 - May 2026
Majoring in computer science or industry related field
Mac and PC support (90/10), cloud software support (Google Workspace, Microsoft, etc), Adobe Creative application support
NOTE: This is a hybrid internship, not fully remote. Interns must be able to work out of an office location at least two days a week. Relocation stipend not included in internship offer.
COMPENSATION
Our estimated compensation for this role is $18/hour.
