American Homes 4 Rent is Hiring a Remote Security Architect - (REMOTE)
- Design, review and assess Security Controls in application development as part of our software development lifecycle.
- Conduct security assessments of internal systems, applications, and IT infrastructure as part of the overall risk management practice of the organization.
- Participate in application and infrastructure projects to provide security planning and implementation.
- Coordinates, negotiates, and administers security vendor proposals and existing agreements, along with conducting performance assessments to ensure vendors are aligned with the organization’s IT standards.
- Coordinate and plan mitigation of identified Security control gaps in applications, networks systems and software development.
- Act as an escalation path to Security issues and lead forensic investigations.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, and/or Information Security, and/or related field preferred.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in IT Security
- Experience in using architecture methodologies.
- Direct, hands-on experience managing security application architecture and performing security assessments.
- CISSP Certification and other Security related certifications are preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, planning, analysis and organizing skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
