Security Deployment Specialist – Remote

Location: Remote (Pacific Time Zone)

CBE, Inc. nationwide technology deployment company, a full-service system design and systems integrator. We specialize in large-scale deployments, long-term maintenance, and service of on-premise hardware and software technology, including, but not limited to: Point of Sale Systems, Security, Media, and Networking.

We are currently seeking a Security Deployment Specialist to join our Security Deployment team. This position will be responsible for providing remote Alarm/Access Control System programming and installation/service support to company field technicians, overseeing technical aspects of project rollouts, and will serve as a liaison in the post-sales support process specializing in all technical aspects of Alarm System remote troubleshooting. As this will be a remote position, experience working remotely in a technical role is preferred.

Duties/Responsibilities

Consults with existing and potential clients to assess and understand equipment needs and systems requirements.
Provides direct technical support to customers and field technicians.
Provides remote alarm system programming, verification of signals and quality control.
Provides direct customer support to resolve problems with installed equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent technical and customer service skills.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Ability to support multiple technicians concurrently with a high attention to detail.
Must be able to work within a virtual team environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with programming, installing, and servicing, DMP, DSC, BOSCH, Honeywell, and other Alarm and Access Control Systems.
Ability to coordinate activities across different organizational functions

Education/Experience

Two years of similar role and related product or technical experience required.
Previous experience as an installation or service technician.
Certified Alarm Technician, Level 1 or equivocal certification.
