Duties - Mechanic and Maintenance - Remote Lodge, AK - Seasonal

Beginning of the season: Prepare boats, engines, clean diesel tank, start generator, helping start water system, general maintenance of 15 buildings, check and repair copper-water lines,.

During the season: maintenance of boat engines, help cleaning boats, tank boat-tanks, unload gas and diesel barrels. Fill generator tank with diesel, maintain diesel generator, fixing buildings, maintain tractor and 4-Wheelers. Helping to change propane tanks when empty and helping guests with their luggage, shuttle them by Jet boat to and from the lodge to the float plane landing spot.

End of the season: cleaning boats, floating devices, etc. with pressure washer, shut down well system for winterizing, maintain buildings to winterize.
