Working collaboratively with the Senior Director of Development, you will design and implement strategies for engagement, fundraising, stewardship, cultivation, and communications with donors, with an emphasis on generating support at the major gift level. Serving as the primary leadership liaison, you will work closely with volunteers, medical and administrative health sciences leaders, and colleagues in Health Sciences Development to identify, recruit, cultivate and solicit volunteers/board members. In this role, you will work collaboratively with Health Sciences Development team members to develop the cases for support and proposals for key initiatives that represent the best of UCLA and its interdisciplinary approach to health. 1. Minimum of three years of fundraising experience with an emphasis on volunteer and board management and/or prior professional experience in a related field such as sales, marketing or business development working with high level boards and volunteers.

2. Experience working in a highly matrixed organization, with a successful track record of building a culture of philanthropy and strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

3. Proven track record in development or comparable program planning and management with a strong understanding of fundraising at multiple levels, volunteer management, donor relations and related areas.
