Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Cloud FinOps, cloud cost management or a related field, with a strong track record of leading successful presales activities.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure & Google Cloud), cloud services (e.g. compute, storage, networking & security) and best practices related to cost management.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with experience in product management as well as managing and developing technical presales teams.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies effectively.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with and influencing senior executives and stakeholders.

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Associate-level architectural certification on one or more public cloud platforms; or equivalent knowledge.
• FinOps Certified Practitioner via the FinOps Foundation; FinOps Certified Professional is preferred.

What will you be doing?

As a Cloud FinOps Practice Lead, you will:

• Lead the definition and development of our Cloud FinOps capabilities, services and solutions.
• Lead the building and execution of our Cloud FinOps go-to-market strategy and collateral.
• Lead technical pre-sales engagements for Cloud FinOps opportunities with our clients.
• Collaborate with other teams to drive successful Cloud FinOps outcomes for our clients.
• Foster and grow strategic relationships with internal and external Cloud FinOps partners.

Responsibilities include:

• Creation of and regular iteration on a comprehensive Cloud FinOps strategy and plan, including best practices in cloud architectures and financial observability for data-driven decision making.
• Collaboration with key stakeholders to develop business intelligence reporting capabilities integrating data, public cloud discounting programs and workload optimization techniques.
• Collaboration with key stakeholders to develop Cloud FinOps consulting services and solution offerings based on market research, industry trends, customer demand and customer feedback.
• Onboarding and engaging with cloud service providers and 3rd party/ISV partners to identify programming, offerings, tooling and training required for our Cloud FinOps portfolio readiness.
• Leading and participating in the building and execution of a comprehensive and coherent Cloud FinOps go-to-market strategy, encompassing: messaging, solution offerings and case studies.
• Collaboration with sales and marketing to create awareness of and demand for Cloud FinOps consulting services and solution offerings, including participation in field enablement events.
• Lead and manage technical pre-sales activities, including pursuit strategies, client engagement, solution offering presentations and client follow-ups to drive Cloud FinOps opportunities.
• Participate in regular client business reviews, providing ongoing value via knowledge of billing account structures, architectural strategies, invoice investigations and cost recommendations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within both enterprise and public sector clients to understand their needs and create or tailor Cloud FinOps solutions accordingly.
• Actively monitor and manage the financial performance of the Cloud FinOps practice, ensuring alignment with the company's goals of accelerated growth through repeatable solutions.
