Job Summary

This position will be dedicated to the USPS EAP Program. The EAP Call Center Representatives are our company's forefront.

They act as a liaison to the other USPS EAP program departments, assisting with the routing of calls, and providing the essential information to our members.

As an EAP Call Center Representative, it will be your responsibility to provide the initial connection between our caller and the services being requested.

Essential Functions

  • Receive initial calls from providers and clients, assist with needs and routing appropriate calls to their respective areas when appropriate.
  • Triage crisis callers to clinical staff for appropriate assistance. Assessing levels of risk beyond the customer service scope.
  • Provide routine referrals to callers to staff offices or network providers.
  • Provide relevant paperwork for providers to adjust demographic information in the system, and to obtain authorization for further treatment for their patients.
  • Meet internal standards set forth to comply with company contract requirements.
  • Assist coworkers in training new hires on procedural aspects of position, including documentation, orientation within the organization, and compliance rules and regulations.
  • Simultaneously communicate telephonically and type.
  • Adhere to department goals and guidelines.
  • Consistently meets individual goals and guidelines.
  • Demonstrates use of MAGIC customer service concepts in all communication.
  • Willingness to work a variety of shifts if necessary.
  • Adheres to USPS Mission Statement, Core Values, Code of Business Conduct, and Compliance Program.
  • Complies with federal and applicable state laws and USPS regarding privacy, confidentiality, and security of health information, and other designated information.

Marginal (non-essential) functions

Assist with mailings, paperwork processing, organizational issues, and general office related tasks necessary for day-to-day operation.

This will include all day-to-day functions, relevant tasks for the collaborative team, and more

Job Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma plus 5 years of customer service experience, or associate's degree and three years of related experience, or bachelor's degree.
  • Able to concurrently communicate telephonically and type.
  • Proven written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, demonstrated willingness to work within a collaborate, team-oriented environment.

Preferred

  • Five plus years of customer service experience (call center preferred)
  • Two plus years medical billing / coding and / or claims experience (mental Health preferred)
  • Working knowledge of health insurance as a whole
  • Bachelor's degree in a social science or health related field
  • Spanish fluency preferred

Salary and Other Compensation :

The starting salary that Lucet reasonably expects to pay for this position ranges from $16.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills, education / degrees, certifications, prior experience, market data, and other relevant factors.

This position is a federally contracted position with the United States Postal Service. which has specific requirements for all candidates which include :

  • The ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen prior to their date of hire.
  • The ability to undergo a Public Trust background investigation and receive a favorable adjudication.
  • US Citizenship for at least 5 years.
