Law Firm of Iwudike & Associates is Hiring a Litigation Attorney Near Towson, MD

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in various legal proceedings and providing them with expert legal advice. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging cases and make a significant impact in the field of law.

Duties:

- Conduct legal research and analysis to support ongoing litigation cases

- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs

- Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings

- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients

- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff to develop case strategies

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation

- Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may affect ongoing cases

- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their rights and obligations

Requirements:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

- Admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland

- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, rules, and regulations

- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills

- Proficiency in using legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw

- Ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues

- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to advocate for clients' interests

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in drafting legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, or motions

- Familiarity with legal administrative tasks such as managing case files and deadlines

- Ability to litigate cases effectively in both state and federal courts

- Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough legal research using various resources
