Position Title: Production Staff
Location: ESC of Eastern Ohio
Part-time - 25 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Employer: Mahoning Valley Regional Council of Governments
Category: Classified; FLSA Applies.
Compensation: Hourly, insurance coverage and fringe benefits eligible (if full-time).
Education/Degree: High school diploma or equivalent
Reports to: Director of Operations/Human Resources.
Supervises: Not applicable.
Job Goal: In summary, this position is responsible for providing copying, laminating, mail sort and package receiving services to the ESCEO office.
Qualifications:
The following qualifications are considered as guidelines:
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Process work orders for copying/printing/finishing in Production
2. Check Production email account for work orders
3. Process and complete laminating job requests
4. Notify Supervisor of needs for repairs on copiers/laminating machine
5. Contact Copier vendor (Compucharts) if repairs are required.
6. Receive packages from UPS, FedEx, Staples, Amazon, USPS, and other freight carriers
7. Maintaining ESCEO Incoming Packages Log Book
8. Sort and Deliver US mail and Interoffice envelopes to staff mailboxes/offices
9. Pickup outgoing mail and interoffice envelopes and bring to Production.
10. Prepare outgoing mail for daily YLS pickup in the afternoon
11. Restock copy paper, when necessary to various office copier locations
12. Ordering cases of copier paper utilizing Vendor Worksheet and submit to Supervisor for approval and creating a requisition.
13. Ordering cases of color paper, cardstock, legal paper, ledger paper, etc. when current inventory is low.
14. Ordering copier toner cartridges and organize on shelves in Production.
15. Bundle/box used toner cartridges and return to vendor when sufficient quantity is reached.
16. Receive, process, and deliver Faxes received, via copier in Production.
17. Create, submit, inventory, and organize supply request for office supplies used by office staff.
18. Shred paper documents that have been dropped off by departments to the Production dept.
19. Print posters on Pro Image 3000 Poster Printer, if requested.
20. Spiral bind booklets as requested.
21. Assist staff if they require self-addressed stamped envelope(s). Coordinate spiral notebook process in Production for requests.
22. Works cooperatively with ESCEO staff
23. Effective communication skills when working with vendors and ESCEO staff
24. Follows all health and safety regulations
25. Successfully complete all Public School Works training
26. Familiarity with basic troubleshooting skills when dealing with copiers, laminator, shredder
27. Basic knowledge of google suite software (calendar, email, docs, numbers, etc.)
28. Performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Superintendent.
