Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The Medical Scribe will work closely with healthcare providers to accurately transcribe and document medical information. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and medical documentation procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Accompany healthcare providers during patient visits and accurately transcribe medical information into electronic health records (EHR)
- Document patient history, physical examinations, diagnoses, treatment plans, and other relevant medical information
- Ensure all medical records are complete, accurate, and comply with legal and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to update patient charts in real-time
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and organizing documents

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Familiarity with various medical specialties such as ER or Ophthalmology is a plus
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other medical software
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Excellent typing skills with the ability to accurately transcribe medical information in a timely manner

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
